Download better iPhone voices
For ConvoCopilot built-in text-to-speech on iPhone.
ConvoCopilot can use Apple's downloadable built-in voices, but Apple does not let third-party apps use Siri voices.
Instructions by iOS version
Open the section that matches your iPhone's iOS version.
Use Spoken Content > Voices. More languages may show higher-quality options such as Premium.
- Open the Settings app.
- Go to Accessibility > Spoken Content > Voices.
- Choose your language, then choose a voice or accent.
- Download the best available option for that voice, usually Enhanced and sometimes Premium.
- Wait for the download to finish before returning to ConvoCopilot.
Notes
- If Premium is missing for your language or accent, Enhanced is the right fallback.
- Voice availability varies by language, region, and device.
Use Live Speech > Voices.
- Open the Settings app.
- Go to Accessibility > Live Speech > Voices.
- Choose your language, then choose a voice or accent.
- Download the best available option for that voice, usually Enhanced or Premium.
- Do not use Siri voices for ConvoCopilot. Apple does not make them available to apps.
- Return to ConvoCopilot after the download finishes and refresh the built-in voice list.
Notes
- If you still see Spoken Content on your device, Live Speech may still be the easier path for downloadable voices on iOS 26.
- Premium voices can be large downloads, so Wi-Fi is strongly recommended.
Troubleshooting
- If a voice will not download, close Settings, reconnect to Wi-Fi, and try again.
- If you use a VPN or security filter, disable it temporarily and try the download again.
- If Premium is missing, use Enhanced instead. Many languages do not expose a Premium tier.
- Live Speech and Personal Voice are separate iPhone features, but on iOS 26 the downloadable voice path may live under Live Speech > Voices.
